New UC Kroger eatery brings quality grab 'n go food options and modern design to Clifton's residents

University Of Cincinnati students have been waiting for a new Grocery store for almost two years since their old Kroger was torn down seeking a fresh start. Opening just last week, the spectacular new multi storey building features a UC themed bar and Eatery designed by UC's very own DAAP students (Design, Architecture, Art and Planning).
After walking into the bright entrance where you are presented with a well stocked produce section, to your left is a kitchen with different cuisines from around the world. It features Sushi, Pizza, Indian, Mexican, American and a Sandwich bar. After making your way through here, you can visit the Boar's Head hot dog stand where you can get a hot dog and soda for a dollar. That's a story for another day. The Pizza oven really gives it some authentic Italian taste and the chef's warm charisma puts a smile on your face.
The upstairs seating section takes you above and beyond the shoppers below and is very relaxing. USB and Outlets are provided at some of the tables and there is plenty of places to sit. The bar is just a short walk from the tables themselves and has a marvelous view looking towards campus. Homage is paid to UC football with a jerseys on the wall. Extra Points Kroger.
